Terms and Conditions

Registration for UBA activities

Article 1. Scope of these terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all activities organized by UBA. 

Article 2. Registering for a UBA event or training

You can register for a UBA activity via the registration form on the website. If the form is completed and submitted correctly, a confirmation message will appear on your screen, and you will receive a confirmation email.  

About a week before the event, you will receive a confirmation of your participation, including practical information, via email. 

Article 3. Registering for a UBA Master Class

  • The standard participation fee is € 430 (excl. VAT)
    • UBA brand members and media members can participate for free
    • For UBA expertise members, the participation fee is € 215 (excl. VAT)
  • A maximum of 2 registrations per company is accepted. 
  • Payment is made after receiving the invoice and before the start of the training. In case of cancellation, the full amount is due. The registrant may be replaced by a colleague.
  • To ensure the quality of the training, the number of places is limited to 40. Out of respect for the speakers, organizers, and those we must refuse, we ask participants to honour their commitment.

Article 4. Registering for a UBA Online Master Class

  • The standard participation fee is € 320 (excl. VAT)
    •  UBA brand members and media members can participate for free
    • For UBA expertise members, the participation fee is € 160 (excl. VAT)
  • A maximum of 4 registrations per company is accepted.
  • Payment is made after receiving the invoice and before the start of the training. In case of cancellation, the full amount is due. The registrant may be replaced by a colleague.
  • To ensure the quality of the training, the trainer may impose a maximum number of participants to encourage interaction. Out of respect for the speakers, organizers, and those we must refuse, we ask participants to honour their commitment. 

Article 5. Registering for the Brand Building College

  • The standard participation fee is € 3,340 (excl. VAT)
    • UBA brand members can participate for free
    • For UBA media members and expertise members, the participation fee is € 1,720 (excl. VAT)
  • Each company may register two employees per cycle.
  • The number of participants per cycle is limited to 40.
  • The rule is: "First come, first served."
  • Out of respect for those we must refuse due to lack of space, we ask participants to commit to the entire program (i.e., attend all 4 session days).
  • Certificates are awarded to participants who complete the entire program. 

Article 6. Registering for the Digital Bootcamp

  • The standard participation fee is € 3,000 (excl. VAT)
    • UBA brand members can participate for free
    • For UBA media members and expertise members, the participation fee is € 1,500 (excl. VAT)
  • Each company may register two employees per cycle.
  • The number of participants per cycle is limited to 40.
  • The rule is: "First come, first served."
  • Out of respect for those we must refuse due to lack of space, we ask participants to commit to the entire program (i.e., attend both session days).
  • Certificates are awarded to participants who complete the entire program. 

Article 7. Registering for a '60 Minutes' Online Session

  • '60 Minutes' sessions are only accessible to UBA members (brand members, media members, and expertise members).
  • Participation in these sessions is included in the UBA membership.
  • To ensure the quality of the training, the trainer may impose a maximum number of participants to encourage interaction. Out of respect for the speakers, organizers, and those we must refuse, we ask participants to honour their commitment.

Article 8. Registering for an Exchange Community

  • Exchange Communities are only accessible to UBA brand members.
  • Participation in these sessions is included in the UBA membership for brand members.
  • To ensure the quality of the session, the speakers may impose a maximum number of participants to encourage interaction. Out of respect for the speakers, organizers, and those we must refuse, we ask participants to honour their commitment.

Article 9. Cancellation by UBA

In the event of insufficient registrations or the unforeseen absence of a speaker, UBA may cancel the event or activity. You will be notified by email or phone.

Article 10. Change of registration

If you can no longer attend the event, you can ask a colleague to take your place. Please notify this change via email.

Article 11. Free cancellation of your registration for an event or paid training

Free cancellation is possible up to 1 month before the event or training. This can be done via your personal web space "MyUBA." In case of later cancellation, 100% of the registration fee is due.

Article 12. Proof and applicable law

Belgian law applies. In case of disputes, only the courts of Brussels have jurisdiction.
